And we’ve not kept that knowledge a secret, we pride ourselves on sharing what we’ve learnt with the industry – helping define and develop a model for sustainable design and working with creatives across the world to ensure design remains at the forefront of change.

Meet the team
MattCreative sustainability officer/founder
Matt leads Leap from the front, setting the course and culture for the agency and generating new and exciting relationships. He founded Leap in 2004 after heading up Eden Project’s graphic design team and working under two former Saatchi & Saatchi directors. His passion for creativity, sustainability and designing for change formed Leap’s foundations.
Matt is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a trained B Leader supporting impact assessing (but not assessing potential B Corps), and an ambassador for B Corporation UK. He is curious, values-driven and an everlasting optimist, believing that creativity has more potential for environmental and social change than politicians, environmentalists and scientists combined.
Simon manages and drives Leap’s ethos, ensuring that there is a solid understanding of what a sustainable business is and consistently delivering that understanding throughout our work. His twenty-year career in branding includes five years at one of Manchester’s leading advertising agencies working on brands such as Hilton, First Direct and Asda, before heading down to Cornwall.
Simon has an innate understanding of brand strategy and is a skilled and experienced project manager who believes that strong design language and tone of voice can create powerful change.
Rebecca wears several hats at Leap, leading on front-end website design and managing the day-to-day operations at the studio and team assignments. She joined Leap in 2012 after completing her degree in graphic design at Falmouth University.
Rebecca thrives on new and diverse projects, and is passionate about all aspects of the design process, with a keen talent for digital assets and multi-layered website design and management.
As Leap’s Senior Creative, it is Nathan’s artistic vision that informs the studio’s design output. He graduated from the D&AD* Award-winning Arts University Bournemouth. From there he went on to design for record labels and live music events.
Nath’s work is mostly handcrafted and individual, with a natural love of the environment, driven by his belief that the best way to achieve creative success and drive change is by setting yourself apart.
NickSenior sustainable web developer
Nick joined Leap in 2021 as the Senior Web Developer to help refine and progress the in-house web development processes. With an in-depth knowledge of front-end web development and building sustainable websites with CMS’s such as WordPress, he is set to guide the digital development team in their continued efforts towards a greener web.
With a love for continuous learning and progression of sustainable practices, Nick believes that by working together we can create a healthier, happier and more sustainable future for all.
CoreySustainable web developer
He is the studio’s primary point of contact for technical queries and believes that greater consideration at the design and development stage can have a hugely positive effect upon the climate impact of online properties.
ClaireFinance & sustainability manager
Claire is responsible for Leap’s administration and accounts, ensuring that the business side of the business runs smoothly. She also works alongside Matt to oversee Leap’s B Corp accreditation and ongoing re-certification. Claire has over 20 years of experience in finance, and she brings a calm and organised influence to the studio, believing that the numbers are more important than the letters!
Imogen is responsible for Leap’s communications, producing content and managing our various channels. At the age of 10, she had her first poem published (titled The Environment), and she has a BA(Hons) in Journalism from the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) Farnham, during which time she was a finalist in an environmental entrepreneur competition. Following her studies, Imogen interned at Vice before returning to Cornwall.
She’s a talented writer with a broad understanding of environmental, design and sustainable business issues. She believes in leading for change and setting a positive example for the next generation.
HelenHead of client services
Helen is one of the primary points of contact for Leap’s clients, and manages projects so that they run smoothly and efficiently, and come in on time and on budget.
With an MA in Brands, Communication and Culture from the University of London’s Goldsmith’s College and over 12 years experience as a client manager at top creative agencies in London and Bristol, Helen’s skillset covers all bases.
She is passionate about seeking ways to live responsibly with our natural environment and with other people, and believe that we need to listen, learn and lead by example to create positive change.
Chevonne is a talented young designer who brings a fresh new perspective to our creative team. She specialises in impactful illustrative and graphic design, creating power through simplicity.
A recent graduate of Truro Colleges’ Tregye Art School (where she gained a distinction), Chevonne is a driven creative whose goal is to inspire a culture of sustainability through her bold and innovative designs.
She believes powerful design can drive the necessary change to create a cleaner future.
BethSustainability consultant and copywriter
Beth is a sustainability communications expert who works enables clients to demonstrate leadership in transparency and accountability. She has spent two decade’s working with global brands, NGOs and B Corps, producing award-winning reports and communications for over fifty clients ranging from Microsoft and Mondi to Bruichladdich and Divine Chocolate.
Beth is passionate about bringing the clarity, understanding and courage her clients need to step out of the shadows and shine a light on the impact they are creating, as well as the areas they need to improve.
