Being Carbon Zero

One in three of us living on the planet uses an open fire to cook their food. One in three. That’s a lot. That also means damage to lungs, to forests and to economic independence – especially to the most vulnerable women and children.

To us, that sounds unnecessary, unfair, and entirely fixable .

So since 2005, we’ve been supporting various cookstove Carbon Offset projects.

Instead of open fires, families can now afford fuel efficient cookstoves.

We offset the tiny CO2 impact from our studio that we can’t reduce any more (currently 6.2 tonnes of CO2 per year); and a few more of us on the planet get to cook without risking our lives.

That’s better. That’s exactly what we believe in.
