Creating A World That Is Inclusive And Fair For All Young People.

2020 was (amongst other things) the year when the intersectional nature of inequalities and social injustice was rightly pushed towards the top of the agenda.  Our most recently completed project, which we worked on through the tail end of 2020, is for an organisation who are harnessing the power of collaboration to create a world that is inclusive and fair for all young people.

Inclusion Labs is an independent, non-profit, community interest company creating impactful programmes that work towards achieving their mission and vision to embed diversity, equity and inclusion into every young person’s educational, cultural and personal development.  Their schools programme considers the intersectional makeup of a school community, encompassing race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, identity – everything that creates a diverse world.  Through their work they are helping schools to ask the right questions and focus on the important things, empowering them to build a more inclusive community for all.  Ultimately, their aim is activate young people in eliminating social inequality and injustice wherever they encounter it.

Starting from scratch, we worked with Inclusion Labs to co-create their brand with the young people who would be its end-users.  School-age children and students were involved in the creative direction of the branding routes, building the logo, and the images in the website and materials involve self-portraits created by young people.  We delivered brand strategy to guide this process, the final brand identity, templates for brand materials, and a website that we also host on our carbon-neutral Wunderism servers powered by renewable energy.

“Dear Leap team,

Thank you so much for all your support and help in creating the Inclusion Labs brand. To see it come to life has been emotional and thrilling and I know I couldn’t have done it with any other team.”
